Trading for Development in the Age of Global Value Chains (GVCs)offered by the Open Learning Campus. Based on WBG's 2020 World Development Report, this five-week course will allow participants to greatly deepen their knowledge of GVCs and trade issues. From August 19th to September 23rd 2020, the MOOC will offer participants a chance to learn from World Bank economists and will also include interactive live sessions.
The course will address questions such as:
- How can GVCs power sustainable and inclusive development by creating better jobs and reducing poverty?
